Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the delivery of nursing care on your assigned unit, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and ensure safe nursing care.
  • Provide professional guidance and supervision to non-professional unit staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Identify educational needs of the staff and develop training programs to address these needs, working closely with the Nurse Educator.
  • Oversee medication management, ensuring that all medications are handled in accordance with company policy and that adequate supplies are available.
  • Provide direct patient care, maintaining your skills and expertise to deliver high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing.
  • Current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center's state.
  • At least one year of nurse management experience.
  • Maintain current BLS/CPR certification.
