Intensive Care Unit Nurse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to lead our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities- Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the ICU
- Manage and supervise assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to guide patient care and staff development
- Provide education and training to staff on best practices and new technologies
- Collaborate with the Director of ICU Services to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- 2 years of experience as a Critical Care staff Registered Nurse required
- 2 years of management or Charge Nurse experience preferred
- Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners
- Current BCLS certification from the American Heart Association
- Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire
