Role of a Manufacturing Equipment Technician:

Our Manufacturing Equipment Technicians are responsible for the upkeep and repair of machinery and facilities that convert recycled materials into corrugated board. This includes the production of boxes for various well-known brands.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Responsibilities of a Manufacturing Equipment Technician:

- Install and maintain equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and conduct repairs across various skilled trades.

- Interpret and apply electrical and mechanical schematics.

- Assemble and mount electrical components such as drives, servos, and circuit breakers.

- Execute wiring tasks and ensure proper labeling of all devices.

- Conduct inspections and tests on electrical assemblies to ensure compliance with production standards.

- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to company policies.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and related equipment.

- Utilize hand and power tools for repairs and maintenance tasks.

- Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve mechanical issues.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of three years of experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment is required.

Educational Background:

High school diploma or equivalent; an apprenticeship or associate degree is preferred.

Essential Skills:

- Strong electrical and mechanical expertise is essential.

- Familiarity with safety and operational guidelines.

- Basic computer skills and effective communication abilities.

Physical Requirements:

The role requires physical stamina, including lifting heavy objects and performing various physical tasks.

Work Environment:

The position involves exposure to moving mechanical parts and may include working in wet or humid conditions.
