Job Opportunity: Host Home Provider

We are seeking experienced and compassionate individuals to join our team as Host Home Providers at Support, Inc. Our organization is dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Job Summary

As a Host Home Provider, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the life of an individual with developmental disabilities. You will provide a safe and supportive living environment, assist with daily living tasks, and help our clients achieve their goals and aspirations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including assistance with hygiene, meal preparation, and dressing.
  • Assist with employment coaching to help clients secure and maintain employment.
  • Plan and participate in recreational activities to enhance social development and overall well-being.
  • Include clients in family life and activities, promoting a sense of belonging and community.
  • Accompany clients to various outings, such as shopping, museums, parks, and recreational centers.
  • Provide transportation as needed, ensuring safe and reliable transportation for our clients.
  • Assist with medical care, including appointments and administering medications, as needed.
  • Document progress notes and medical records, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Provide training on life skills and daily living tasks, empowering our clients to become more independent.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must complete and pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle check.
  • Must complete training for Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, and maintain ongoing training requirements.
  • At least one year of experience as a host home provider preferred.
  • Experience with behavioral needs and medical needs, such as CNAs, LPNs, or RNs, is preferred.
