Job Description
The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high-quality patient care in accordance with established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using evidence-based practices and standardized protocols. Key responsibilities include assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing effective care plans, and evaluating outcomes to improve quality of care.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a current Texas Licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners, an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), and American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additionally, one year of experience in Emergency Services (ED) is required. The ideal candidate will also have Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications within six months of hire.
