Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Cath Lab

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Cath Lab team at WellSpan Health. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and assisting cardiologists with diagnostic invasive procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist cardiologists with diagnostic invasive procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and peripheral interventions.
  • Provide care for patients prior to, during, and after procedures, including preparing and maintaining all pertinent information related to procedures.
  • Maintain operational knowledge of Cath Lab equipment according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Respond to patient distress situations and assist with equipment quality control and inventory management.
  • Prepare sterile trays, instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary for procedures, and maintain a sterile field.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in Cardiology, EKG, and physiologic monitoring required.
  • Experience in Cath Lab, ED, or ICU preferred.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse upon hire required.
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications required.
