Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RF & Microwave Design Engineering Manager to lead our team in the design and development of complex solid-state power amplifiers (SSPAs) and multi-function modules (MFMs) for defense and space applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of RF architectures and systems using chain analysis and frequency planning tools.
  • Design RF components using ADS, MWO, HFSS, Sonnet, Spice, or Cadence.
  • Evaluate and select devices appropriate to the applications and meeting the customer requirements.
  • Prepare test methods and specifications, analyze and test hardware to verify performance.
  • Lead PDR, CDR, PRR design reviews and give presentations to management and customers.
  • Provide guidance on technology trends and help drive our industry competitiveness.
Requirements
  • 15+ years' work experience in the Microwave & RF industry at microwave and millimeter-wave frequencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to find creative and innovative solutions.
  • Ability to use Matlab, Mathcad, or programming languages to perform complex analyses.
  • Proficient with electrical design software such as AWR's Microwave Office or ADS.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
