This dynamic individual will provide clinical and supervisory leadership in the Emergency Department, overseeing patient care and ensuring a smooth operation. They will perform disciplinary actions, participate in hiring and termination processes, and communicate effectively with physicians, nurse managers, and coworkers about patient condition updates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and improve the required components of patient-centered care delivery models.
- Provide respectful and responsive care that aligns with patient values in clinical decision-making.
- Involves patients and families in care assessment, considering their psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, population-specific, and diversity needs.
The ideal candidate will have current state Registered Nurse Licensure and previous experience as an Emergency Department Charge Nurse. They must also possess BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and preferably TNCC and ENPC certification.
