Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing general maintenance and repair services to our resort facilities, including common areas and units. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including daily inspections, service calls, and planned preventative maintenance.
  • Respond to emergency situations and demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures.
  • Support other departments in light cleaning, maintenance, housekeeping, marketing, and HR activities as needed.
  • Provide maintenance support to guests and other departments, including responding to daily maintenance requests.
  • Track and maintain maintenance supplies, tools, and resources, and report incidents to management as necessary.
  • Provide on-site activities, area attractions, events, and other vacation information to owners and guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General repair knowledge and experience, including knowledge of basic hand tools.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to resolve common problems and concerns of owners and guests in a professional manner.
  • Possession of or ability to attain a pool certification.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include standing, climbing stairs, talking, and hearing. The employee will also be required to walk, use hands to lift, place, handle, and feel, stoop, kneel, and crouch when stocking, shelving, etc. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Lifting items over 25 pounds will be done with equipment or two or more employees.
