As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, create individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Administer medications safely and effectively, adhering to state regulations and Mercy Health policies.
- Serve as a patient advocate, promoting safety and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to provide exceptional patient-centered care.
- Current RN license in the state of practice or compact state.
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) or obtain within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year of RN experience, with 6 months in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department unit preferred.
- EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) training.
- Critical Care Course completion.
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) or PCCN (Progressive Care Certified Nurse) certification.
