Total Care Medical Staffing LLC is seeking compassionate and dedicated Non-Certified Caregivers to provide high-quality care and support to residents in an assisted living setting in Atlantic, IA.
Key Responsibilities- Resident Assistance: Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and provide emotional support and companionship to promote their mental and emotional well-being.
- Mobility Support: Help residents with mobility, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for residents.
- Meal Preparation: Assist with meal preparation and serving, ensuring residents receive nutritious and balanced meals.
- Medication Reminders: Provide reminders for medication schedules as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the supervisor.
- Emergency Response: Assist in emergency situations, following established protocols and procedures.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the assisted living team to ensure coordinated and efficient care.
- Experience: Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
