Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontract Administrator to join our Nuclear Projects and Consulting group at Jacobs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering complex federal construction-type subcontracts and providing exceptional service to our government clients.

  • Ability to fully administer larger complex federal construction-type subcontracts of ($30M +) and/or multiple smaller federal construction-type subcontracts.
  • Act with integrity, honesty, and professionalism in daily interactions/correspondence with staff, client, peers, subcontractors, suppliers, and government officials.
  • Perform assignments of varying scope, priorities, and complexity from moderate to complex requirements following established policies and procedures.
  • Work in a professional team environment with shifting priorities that may include extended hours to support project schedules.
  • Responsible for cradle-to-grave procurement administration of federal and/or commercial procurement actions, including review requisitions, preparing RFPs, conducting bid abstracts, conducting negotiations, and composing written narratives, letters, documents, and correspondence.

As a team-oriented subcontract administrator, you will be responsible for leading routine meetings with subcontractors/client, taking/compiling meeting minutes, preparing documents that support purchase orders and subcontracts, and administering complex services-type subcontracts. You will also be responsible for providing and maintaining a professional procurement culture that is honest, acts with integrity, and adds value to the team.

Key skills and qualifications include a solid working knowledge of federal construction contracting and procurement requirements, ability to work in a team environment, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
