US Foods is seeking a skilled CDL driver to join our team. As a CDL driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination and transporting goods to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with dispatchers and routers for truck and trailer assignments
  • Keep assigned equipment coupled and in good working condition
  • Move trailers between buildings as directed by routers or warehouse supervisors
  • Load, unload, or merge loads between environments
  • Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers
  • Set up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty pallets
  • Place backhauls in correct doors to be unloaded by warehouse
  • Ensure all equipment is paired and ready for next day's deliveries
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ pounds of product repetitively during each shift
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience preferred
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
  • Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
