Position Title: Special Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. Role Responsibilities:
- Design, organize, and execute engaging educational activities tailored for students aged 3-22.
- Formulate, implement, and assess Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) to ensure students achieve their educational objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and educational staff to provide comprehensive support and meet IEP goals.
- Evaluate student progress regularly, adapting teaching strategies and interventions based on assessment data.
- Deliver direct instruction and support to students, employing best practices in pedagogy and behavior management.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth.
- Maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student development and requirements.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to remain informed about current practices and enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related discipline; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Previous experience in an educational environment working with students with special needs.
- Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective IEPs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to collaborate effectively with a team of paraprofessionals, therapists, and other educational professionals.
