About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Operator I to join our team at Ardent Mills. As an Elevator Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the elevators or lifts used within our production facilities. Your primary role will be to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of raw materials, such as grains or ingredients, throughout the facility to production of the final product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain elevators or lifts to ensure safe and efficient movement of materials
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on elevators and related equipment
  • Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals
  • Adapt to changing production schedules and priorities as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as manufacturing or maintenance
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and exert 20 pounds of force
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
