**Job Summary:**

Maintain professional accountability and technical support for the provision of patient care to OB patients. Work under the direction of Nursing and Medical Staff to provide a wide variety of duties related to patient care, clerical support, and surgical assistance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide supportive care and assistance with ADL's to newborns, childbearing, and postpartum patients.
  • Surgically assist physicians with procedures in labor and delivery settings.
  • Prepare Operating/Delivery Rooms and patients for all labor and delivery procedures.
  • Assist with operational tasks including maintenance of patient records, bed control, and turnover.

**Requirements:**

  • High-School Diploma or GED required.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Surgical Technology experience required at hire or completion of a unit-based competency.
