Job Description

As a Registered Nurse in our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), you will be responsible for providing evidence-based clinical care to designated patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care according to established ethical/cultural codes and standards of nursing practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing the nursing process
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient outcomes
  • Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in each encounter with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state where work is being performed
  • Specialized knowledge of nursing theory, clinical practice standards, procedures, policies, and mathematical calculations associated with medication administration
  • Able to critically think and problem solve in routine and emergency situations
