Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, utilizing music therapy techniques and models to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care and support to patients and their families.
  • Conduct music therapy sessions, adapting techniques to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Board Certification as a Music Therapist (MT-BC) by the Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music with a concentration in Music Therapy and/or Music Therapy from an American Music Therapy Association (AMTA) approved university (or undergraduate equivalency program approved by AMTA).
  • Reliable automobile, valid driver's license, and minimum state required liability auto insurance.
