Job Responsibilities:- Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
- Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
- Participate in hourly rounding and observe safety guidelines and safe work practices.
- May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s) and supervise other members of the healthcare team.
- Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above-average pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Strongly preferred experience in CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
- Minimum Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
- Preferred Education: BSN.
- Minimum Experience: One year as RN in an Emergency Department OR 3 years of EMT/ED Tech.
- Preferred Experience: Strongly preferred expr in Emergency, CVICU or ICU or Min 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown.
- Required Certifications/Licenses: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona. CPR. ACLS as applicable by Facility/by Department.
- Preferred Certifications/Registration: OR: ACLS.
