Key Responsibilities:
  • Determines priority for servicing equipment in accordance with supervisor directions.
  • Performs routine servicing, maintenance, and minor repair of heavy equipment, such as street sweepers, graders, dump trucks, and similar equipment.
  • Evaluates, detects, and diagnoses minor mechanical problems on vehicles and equipment; implements required routine repairs using standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains records of vehicle servicing data and ensures adequate service supplies are on hand.
  • Complies with safety requirements of the position and actively promotes safe work practices.
