Job Summary
Brantner and Associates, Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Operator to join our team. As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for assembling and aligning parts and fixtures using hand and power tools. You will also inspect all work for quality and compliance with design standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and align parts and fixtures using hand and power tools.
- Inspect all work for quality and compliance with design standards.
- Perform hydrostatic testing to products, in accordance with work instructions.
- Ensure continuous operations by performing readjustments, fixing jams and misfeeds.
- Perform in-process and final inspection of terminals to ensure that QIP specifications are met.
- Prepare finished parts to be taken by Material Handling.
- Demonstrate flexibility to respond to multiple assignments.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience required.
- 1 year of experience with Manufacturing machine Set-up.
- S A P Manufacturing & ISO 9001 experience preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of hand tools and print reading.
- A safe quality conscious attitude working in a team environment.
- Willingness to work overtime to support production goals as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to push/pull/carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Frequent walking and standing are required.
- Frequently required to extend arms and hands between knees and shoulders; frequent holding and grasping with hands.
