Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing services to students in a special education setting. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with a team of educators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' strengths and areas of need
  • Develop and implement IEPs that address students' occupational therapy needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, including individual and group sessions
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent and effective support for students
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

  • Current licensure in Occupational Therapy in the state of Texas
  • Department of Education licensure, if applicable
  • Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with students with special needs
