As a key member of our deal teams, you will support the syndication and structuring of financial transactions, including pro rata, institutional, and high-yield debt products for sponsor and corporate clients. Your focus will be on non-investment-grade rated borrowers, requiring a deep understanding of financial markets and credit analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with deal teams to provide initial transaction due diligence, credit research, and comparable debt and enterprise value analysis.
- Develop and present client pitches and proposals, as well as prepare pre-screens and approvals for new and proposed underwritten financing opportunities.
- Conduct complex financial and M&A financing modeling in Excel, analyzing clients' financial situations, industry, and market data, and mergers and acquisition opportunities.
- Prepare external client proposals and internal underwriting memos, and maintain and develop relationships with other financial institutions to participate in transactions.
- Participate in client negotiations and documentation, and mentor and oversee the work of junior colleagues to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Management, or a closely related field, and two years of experience in the job offered, as Investment Analyst, or related position involving financial analysis.
- Alternatively, a Master's degree and completion of an internship or equivalent experience will be accepted.
- Full term of experience must include financial and M&A modeling, analyzing and structuring transactions, assessing value of private and public companies, credit documentation negotiation, and Bloomberg, CapIQ, or Pitchbook.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary range: $175,000 - $225,000 per year.
- Remote work permitted within commuting distance.
- Up to 33% travel required domestically and internationally to client sites.
