Job Summary:

As a Press Maintenance Facilitator at Thai Summit America, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and supervise a team to meet or exceed departmental goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer company policies, procedures, and practices in a consistent manner.
  • Initiate coaching and problem-solving activities to maintain a productive relationship with associates.
  • Remain accessible to associates and respond to their concerns, complaints, problems, suggestions, etc., in a timely manner.
  • Use leadership and motivational techniques to maintain a productive and satisfied department work group.
  • Selection, training, and development of associates through skill assessment and coordination of training resources.
  • Plan and execute daily activities according to departmental production requirements.
  • Manage efficient utilization of manpower, equipment, and materials to promote/improve safety, housekeeping, quality, and reduce scrap.
  • Maintain/improve customer service through the use/participation of Concern/Resolution processes (8D).
  • Plan and execute company initiatives.

Requirements:
  • 5-7 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Associate's degree or enrollment in classes towards Associate's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills required.
  • General knowledge of personal computers is expected (MS Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; ERP system).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years with specific experience in Press (metal stamping).
  • Management skills and experience.
  • Press maintenance: Experience with similar machinery (Aida, Simpac, etc.), PLCs, hydraulics, some electrical.
