Soliant is seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to join our team in a full-time capacity. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will work closely with hearing-impaired students to facilitate their education and ensure equal access to learning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality interpretation services to support the academic and social needs of hearing-impaired students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies
- Conduct assessments to identify students' communication needs and develop individualized plans to meet those needs
- Stay up-to-date with best practices in sign language interpretation and deaf education
Requirements:
- Minimum 1+ years of experience as a Sign Language Interpreter
- 4.0 EIPA or NIC/RID certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
