Job Title: Sr. Civil Certification Engineer

At Supernal, we're pushing the boundaries of human possibility with our Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) technology. As a Sr. Civil Certification Engineer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our eVTOL aircraft meets the highest safety and reliability standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement certification processes and procedures for civil certification projects
  • Collaborate with research and development teams to identify regulatory requirements and prepare certification plans
  • Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-disciplinary teams
  • Ensure Hyundai UAM Engineering projects align with regulations by preparing compliance checklists and certification plans
  • Assist in creating processes and procedures for the Certification group to streamline their duties
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in systems design, development, safety analysis, integration, and certification
  • Experience with 14 CFR Part 23 requirements and FAA personnel
  • Proficiency in FAA Type Certification, Supplemental Type Certification, and Production Certificate processes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Competitive base pay: $180,100 - $218,300 USD
