Banquet Server - Bartender Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Server - Bartender to join our team at Specialty Restaurants Corporation. As a Banquet Server - Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and Serve Beverages: Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including mixed drinks, bottled or draft beer, wine, and other beverages to guests of the bar.
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring they feel welcome and valued at all times.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Stock and Prepare Garnishes: Stock and prepare garnishes for drinks, ensuring they are always available and of high quality.
  • Responsible for Inventory: Responsible for ordering and maintaining an inventory of liquor, mixes, and other bar supplies.
  • Operate Point of Sale System: Operate the point of sale system quickly and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with accuracy.
  • Balance and Secure Funds: Balance and secure all funds at the end of each shift, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to Company Policies: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to alcohol awareness and safety.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly and effectively communicate English, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to walk and stand for hours at a time, lift and carry up to 30 lbs, and balance and walk with heavy trays, dinnerware, and drinks.
Working Conditions:
  • Schedule: Schedule may fluctuate based on departmental requirements.
  • Travel: No local travel required.
