Next GenHealth Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse for our Observation Unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care and be part of a dynamic healthcare team.

Salary: $47.40 - $74.78 per hour

Job Summary:

  • We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse with recent experience in Observation/Med-Surg acute care to join our team.
  • Your primary responsibilities will include implementing and monitoring patient care plans, serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines, and assessing and coordinating patient's discharge planning needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized patient care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  2. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  3. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  4. Assess patients' discharge planning needs and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Observation/Med-Surg acute care RN.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Active Registered Nurse license or compact licensure.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Registered Nurse Diploma.
