We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CT Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida West Tampa Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and producing high-quality images for our radiologists to interpret.
Key Responsibilities- Selecting proper technical factors for studies and performing diagnostic CT examinations accurately and efficiently
- Operating and maintaining CT scanners, pressure injectors, and other related equipment
- Preparing and positioning patients for exams, ensuring modesty and safety
- Documenting clinical information, obtaining informed consent, and completing required fields in our electronic medical record system
- Producing high-quality images and ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation
- Maintaining effective communication with patients, colleagues, and radiologists
- Checking equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and stocking supplies
- Accepting on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed
- Completion of a Radiologic Technology program at an accredited institution
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
- Clear/active Florida Department of Health CRT licensure
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance, radiation safety, and infection control policies
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment
