This position requires overseeing the design team, engaging with clients, and collaborating with regulatory agencies to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery. Core Responsibilities:
  • Identify and clarify client expectations while ensuring the project scope encompasses all necessary requirements.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies to guarantee compliance with local standards while maximizing client value.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, Graduate Engineers, CAD technicians, consultants, and support personnel in a collaborative environment.
  • Guide and mentor junior engineers and Graduate Engineers.
  • Manage multiple public projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Provide feedback for quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Represent the organization in business development initiatives with prospective clients and community stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all plans, calculations, and specifications are thorough and precise.
  • Address complex design and project management challenges efficiently.

Required Qualifications:
  • Licensed professional engineer in Texas with 6-15 years of relevant post-graduate experience in public works.
  • Ability to prepare proposals and timelines for multi-phase, multi-discipline projects.
  • Exceptional organizational skills to proactively manage schedules and mitigate potential issues.
  • In-depth understanding of local regulations and procedures.
  • Strong work ethic and a commitment to thriving in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to execute complex, multi-step tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate effective interactions with all stakeholders.
