  • Exhibit thorough knowledge of all beverage menus, with the capability to make informed suggestions.
  • Promote awareness of the venue's features and upcoming events.
  • Prepare, garnish, and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room patrons, following standard recipes and adhering to Spare Time Entertainment's recipe and pouring guidelines.
  • Assist in preparing unoccupied tables for guests by cleaning surfaces, removing debris, and ensuring seating areas are tidy.
  • Clear tables in the dining area and return used dishes to the dishwashing area.
  • Support food preparation as needed.
  • Comply with all food safety and quality regulations.
  • Assist in managing waste effectively.
  • Monitor assigned sections to address guest needs and resolve any concerns.
  • Verify guest identification and monitor alcohol consumption, strictly following Spare Time Entertainment Policy, state policy, and local laws.
  • Recognize signs of intoxication and take appropriate actions with guests who may be over-served.
  • Confidently operate the POS System to process transactions accurately, provide bills, collect payments, and give change.
  • Complete all required complimentary shift paperwork in an organized manner.
  • Perform opening and closing duties for shifts.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs and adhering to Local, State, and Federal Health Department Codes.
  • Ensure products and areas are organized and restocked as necessary.
  • Communicate any inventory shortages to the supervisor.
  • Maintain current certifications required by state regulations and those offered by Spare Time Entertainment.
  • Report any company violations to management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • 2+ years of previous experience in waitstaff or bartending preferred.
  • SERVSafe and/or TIPS certification preferred or required if mandated by the state.
Work Environment
  • The noise level can be loud and may include lighting effects such as lasers and strobes.
  • This position involves working with large crowds and children.
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work.
