SUMMARY
The Janitorial Services Specialist is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of office environments within the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Tasks:
Manage waste disposal, dust surfaces (including desks, tables, and reception areas), vacuum carpets, sanitize restrooms, clean windows, and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
Regular Tasks:
Mop tiled surfaces, dust blinds, and ensure adequate cleaning supply inventory.
Adhere to company policies and procedures.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Maintain a professional and tidy appearance at all times.
Candidates are
PREFERRED who possess:
Two years of experience in janitorial services
Capability to manage cleaning supply inventories accurately.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Proficiency in operating cleaning machinery.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical requirements outlined here are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully execute the responsibilities of this position.
The employee frequently must use hands for handling, reaching, and bending. The employee may occasionally need to sit.
Regular lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds is required, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
