We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Giant Eagle, one of the leading transportation companies in the region. As a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our commercial fleet vehicles, including diesel and compressed natural gas tractor trailer trucks, gasoline service trucks, and vans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair commercial fleet vehicles, including diesel and compressed natural gas tractor trailer trucks, gasoline service trucks, and vans
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles and equipment
  • Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation regulations
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and improve processes
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
