Job Title: General Assembler

Location: Tempe, AZ

Duration: 12 Months contract

Total Hours/week: 40.00

Shift Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm most of the time.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled General Assembler to join our team at MillenniumSoft. As a General Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling small parts, medical devices, and other equipment. You will work in a cleanroom environment and be required to wear full cleanroom attire and safety glasses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble small parts, medical devices, and other equipment
  • Perform quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications
  • Set up, operate, perform maintenance on, and troubleshoot equipment
  • Work in a cleanroom environment and wear full cleanroom attire and safety glasses

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one to two years of manufacturing assembly experience with small parts assembly experience, microscope or inspection
  • Effective communication skills at a level coworkers and Team Lead/Supervisor can understand
  • Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend specifications written in English and perform basic math calculations
  • Ability to use basic tools of measurement, such as calipers, micrometers, rulers
  • Able to work with razor blades, tweezers, and microscopes
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis
  • Has good attention to detail
  • Ability to get along with people and be able to work in a team environment
  • Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally the employee may be required to lift or move at least 25 pounds
