Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Bus Monitor to join our team at Delta-T Group Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation and safety, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students while riding the bus and ensure their safe transportation
  • Assist students with safe boarding and exit procedures, including wheelchair and seat restraint guidelines
  • Exercise student management through effective communication and discipline, in accordance with school policy
  • Report any difficulties or changes in students' needs to the supervisor
  • Maintain positive relationships with other employees, parents, and the public

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend English
  • Ability to maneuver effectively in a school bus and lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to physically perform a front and back door bus evacuation and to perform CPR and first aid techniques on the ground or floor
  • Ability to walk the equivalent of at least one mile daily
