Role Summary:

As a Medical Assistant at TOI, you will play a vital role in enhancing patient care and supporting the healthcare team. We seek individuals who are compassionate and patient-centered, ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) through accurate charting.
  • Conduct patient interviews to collect health histories and current medication information.
  • Measure and record vital signs, including height, weight, temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, using both manual and electronic methods.
  • Administer injections as required.
  • Participate in essential staff meetings.
  • Assist in organizing inventory and stocking examination rooms and laboratories.
  • Uphold TOI's commitment to exceptional customer service standards.
  • Provide support at nearby clinics as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant Diploma program is essential.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.

Preferred Qualifications: A Medical Assistant Certificate is advantageous but not mandatory.
