Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement electrical designs and solutions for our manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineering, operations, and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to plant teams on electrical system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain electrical system documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements and cost savings through electrical system optimization.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve electrical system design and operation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a strong background in industrial electrical systems.
  • Proven track record of leading electrical engineering projects and teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical system issues.
  • Proficient in electrical design software, including AutoCAD and electrical simulation tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience working with power transformer systems and related technologies.
  • Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs and CMMS.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design and safety standards for industrial machinery, including IEC, IEEE, NEMA, CE, and UL.
