Position Overview:


The Data Center Services (DCS) division is responsible for ensuring that the data center's infrastructure is operational and meets all necessary standards. Currently, the team is managing two facilities and is preparing to initiate a third.

The selected candidate will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for the commissioning of all electrical and power distribution systems within the data center environment.

This role involves overseeing budgeting, timelines, and project scope to guarantee that the data center is functional and operational throughout the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities:
The daily responsibilities will encompass:

  • Factory witness testing
  • Site acceptance inspections
  • Pre-functional testing
  • Functional performance testing
  • Integrated systems testing

Compensation:
$100/hr

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of commissioning experience with a solid technical foundation
  • At least 3 years of management experience leading large teams, including third-party commissioning agents
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls engineering
  • Familiarity with BIM 360 or similar software tools
  • Willingness to work overtime and be present on-site
  • Proven leadership skills to guide external contractors, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and internal operational teams
  • Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and adjust commissioning schedules and resources as needed
  • Experience in large-scale data center or hyperscale data center environments

Contract Value: Ranges from $250k to $1 billion.
