Job Summary

This position requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet sales and customer service goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle monetary transactions, including cash, checks, gift certificates, and travelers' checks, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Engage in suggestive selling and other sales techniques to drive sales and meet sales targets.

• Assist with merchandise rotation, store layout, stocking, and proper pricing to ensure a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.

• Maintain the checkout area, including keeping it clean, neat, properly stocked, and safe, to ensure a positive customer experience.

• Answer the telephone, take donation information from customers for pick-up, accept donations from clients, and provide them with tax information forms.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a retail environment as a cashier, preferably in apparel, thrift/consignment.

• Valid Florida Driver's license and Insurance.
