About the Role:
The Customer Experience Specialist, also known as a Deck Ambassador, plays a critical role in providing an exceptional customer experience at our swim school. This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our poolside area, providing excellent customer service, and supporting our swim instructors and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting up and breaking down the pool deck area before and after each shift.
- Checking water chemistry and temperature prior to swim lessons.
- Welcoming students and parents/guardians to the pool deck area.
- Answering customers' questions about their account, their child's progress, or about the program.
- Assisting swim instructors and managers when needed during swim lessons.
- Posting media content and monitoring social media platforms.
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
- A responsible and professional demeanor.
- Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of customer service experience and lifeguarding/first aid/CPR/AED certification(s), which may be obtained during training.
