About the Job: As a Macon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center Admissions Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless admissions process for our residents and patients. This includes coordinating referrals, conducting tours, and ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate resident/patient referral approval process
  • Conduct tours of our facility with potential residents/patients and their family members
  • Ensure an 80% conversion ratio of tours to admissions
  • Track pre-admission referral activity daily/weekly
  • Assist the Admissions Director with arrangements and confirmation of all admissions
  • Ensure specialized equipment is ordered as indicated from admissions screening and assessment
  • Review insurance contract content for need to obtain prior approval from authorized payer
  • Complete records and documentation in accordance with Company policy and State and/or Federal guidelines

Requirements:
  • Minimum two (2) year degree required; four (4) year degree preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in actual healthcare sales/marketing/insurance
  • Must have basic understanding of sales and marketing processes
  • Must be familiar with medical terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Work, Excel, PowerPoint)

Salary: $62,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience.
