Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Robotics Software Engineer to design and develop software for controlling robotics systems. The ideal candidate will be specialized in selection and integration of servos, sensors, and motion planning and control.

Salary: $116,300/year - $201,200/year (based on location)

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, select, and integrate sensors such as overhang sensors, overheight sensors, vision systems, and force/torque sensors to enhance system robustness and performance
• Integrate with new drives/motors, new devices like scanners, vacuum suction module
• Develop controls code utilizing structured text and ladder-logic on Codesys and RSLogix 5000 platforms
• Conduct risk assessments for robotic systems, identifying potential hazards and implementing appropriate safeguards in compliance with relevant safety standards

Requirements:
• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
