Early Childhood Educator

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to assist in our preschool classroom. As an assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our program, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Lead Teachers in planning and implementing classroom routines, curriculum, meals, and related activities for pre-school and/or infant toddler children.
- Support the development of lesson plans and educational materials.
- Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for all children.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve program goals and objectives.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support the success of the program.
Requirements:
- 18+ years old, required.
- Entry level position; previous babysitting or childcare experience is preferred.
- Basic computer experience is required (i.e. email, word processing, internet navigation).
- Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
- Applicants with multiple language capabilities (English, Spanish, and/or Portuguese) are preferred.
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required (completed or currently enrolled).
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate or a commitment to obtain a CDA within 1 year of employment is required (paid by the employer). Essentials of Child Development, Health, Safety and Nutrition, Observation and Recording, Creating a Learning Environment, Applying Child Development Knowledge, Building Family Partnerships and Assessment in Early Childhood Programs.
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $15.69-$16.69 and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid holidays, paid time off, health, dental, vision coverage and retirement program.
