As a Psych Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our psychiatric nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to individuals with mental health conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
- AHA-approved Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
- 1 year of experience in a psychiatric nursing setting (new graduates accepted).
- Associate degree in nursing or higher.
- Experience working in a psychiatric nursing setting.
- Competitive hourly rate starting at $32/hour, with opportunities for advancement and increased compensation.
