Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Roth Cadillac. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the automotive industry and excellent customer service skills.

  • Technician
Responsibilities:

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. This includes:

  • Test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
  • Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicating directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed
  • Providing estimates of time needed for additional repairs
  • Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience at an automotive dealership
  • A strong understanding of the service drive
  • Years of experience vary per position
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer competencies
  • A positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
  • The ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • PA inspection and emission inspection license required or train
