Banquet Houseperson

Sage Hospitality Group is seeking a highly skilled Banquet Houseperson to join our team at The Alexandrian Hotel in Alexandria, Virginia.

We are a leading hospitality company that prides ourselves on delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Banquet Houseperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our events and functions.

• Event Setup and Breakdown: Set up and break down banquet meeting rooms according to sales contracts and company standards.
• Room Preparation: Ensure that all banquet and meeting rooms are properly set in a timely manner, allowing our banquet service staff to prepare for functions.
• Room Refreshment: Refresh rooms on time, have water in rooms, clean rooms, and set for appropriate functions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our banquet service staff to ensure seamless execution of events.

• Education and Experience: No formal education required, but prior housekeeping experience is desirable.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, continuous standing, and mobility to reach all areas of responsibility.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with guests, other associates, and supervisors.
