  1. Set up the dining area in an appealing manner for meal service.
  2. Welcome and seat residents, taking their meal orders as they enter the dining space.
  3. Deliver food and beverages promptly and courteously.
  4. Engage with residents to foster social connections and provide emotional support.
  5. Clear tables during and after service using appropriate techniques.
  6. Handle dishes, glassware, and utensils safely.
  7. Assist in maintaining cleanliness by vacuuming the dining area and/or kitchen.
  8. Replace used table linens with fresh ones.
  9. Uphold confidentiality regarding residents' personal and health information while respecting their privacy.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
  • Previous experience in a restaurant setting is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine appreciation for elderly individuals.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekdays and weekends.
