We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Avante at St. Cloud, Inc. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality Physical Therapy services to our patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation process, including self-care, homemaking, functional mobility, and coordination, under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Conduct individual and group treatment sessions as assigned by the Physical Therapist, focusing on ADLs, functional mobility, ROM, strength, coordination, and cognitive/perceptual remediation.
- Adapt Physical Therapy techniques and media as needed, following consultation with the Physical Therapist, to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
- Maintain acceptable resident care ratios and provide treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures, and productivity standards.
- Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement programs and adhere to established confidentiality standards.
- Ability to carry out treatment plans as designed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Ability to document daily care as per established guidelines.
- Effective communication skills to respond to treatment intervention with residents, family, and other team members.
