Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. As a Manual Machinist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and repairing equipment, as well as ensuring the quality of our steel products.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute machining operations to meet production requirements, ensuring high-quality products and efficient use of resources.
- Perform regular equipment inspections and maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our manufacturing processes and equipment to provide expert guidance and support.
- Participate in safety programs and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a machinist in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical skills and ability to interpret blueprints and engineering plans.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational degree preferred.
