We are seeking a skilled Assembly Operator I to join our team at TE Connectivity's Fairview, NC facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for component assembly, ensuring high-quality products are delivered to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Quality Control: Inspect your work using quality standards and work instructions to ensure compliance with our rigorous quality standards.
- Measurement and Testing: Conduct pull tests as needed for particular operations and measure components using calipers, gages, or other measuring devices.
- Product Inspection: Inspect product to print and complete necessary operational paperwork required to maintain the traceability of product.
- Equipment Maintenance: May troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Housekeeping and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company and department guidelines, procedures, and policies, as well as safety guidelines.
- Additional Duties: Perform all other work-related duties as assigned, including reading and performing tasks according to drawings.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Skills: Basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to interpret product blueprints, and ability to multitask and prioritize work.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, remain in a stationary position 75% of the time, and operate machinery.
- Competitive Compensation: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
- Total Compensation: Total compensation includes base salary, incentives, and benefits.
